Frequently Asked Questions

For FAQs specific to film photography, click below!

How many images do we get back?

The amount of images is specified in each session package!

What is your turn around time?

For shoots you can expect your photos back within two weeks. For weddings and events, you will receive your photos within four-five weeks!

How do we get our images back from you?

I shoot your images on film, then I get them developed, and scanned. You will receive all your images in digital form! I will also mail you your negatives if you add that to your package!

What does the booking process look like for weddings?

Once you reach out, we'll chat about the details of your special day and find the package that’s the best fit for you. After that, you can either schedule a call with me or proceed directly with booking. I'll send over a contract for us both to sign, which will include the deposit amount required to secure your date. Once I receive the signed contract and deposit, you're officially on my calendar! As your event approaches, we’ll touch base to finalize the details, and I’ll be there to support you every step of the way.

Do you travel? And what are your prices for travel weddings and shoots?

I do travel! My rates for travel weddings are simply my base wedding rate plus expenses for travel, transportation, and lodging! Reach out to get a customized travel quote for your event!

Are you based in Utah or Southern California?

I live in Utah in the SLC area! However, I go to California about once a month to visit my parents since that’s where I’m from! So if you live in SoCal and want a shoot without travel fees, just pay attention to when I will be in California! I post it on my story whenever I have a trip coming up!

Do you offer digital photography?

I offer digital as an add-on for sessions, with pricing that varies based on your specific needs! For all-film wedding packages, I always capture backup digital images that I will personally edit and include in your final gallery. While I’ve never had a roll of film not turn out, I like to have a backup plan in place just in case something unexpected happens! Additionally, my packages offer the option to hire a second shooter who will focus on digital photography throughout your wedding day while I shoot a mix of film and digital. Their images will be edited in my style.

In both cases, digital photography is secondary to film, which is truly my specialty!
